Security Shenanigans

M Khan sent me a message that had nothing in it, other than a link that I have no intention of opening.

But the title of his email alone, bestows upon him the privilege of being posted here.

Am wondering if Mr Khan truly understands the meaning of the word shenanigans, and whether it is part of his every day vocabulary.... or did the translation website I'm guessing he used, throw it up randomly and he thought "that sounds good, I'll use that one".

I HAVE RECEIVED AN EMAIL TODAY FROM A CARYL MAHON, BUT I HAVE NOT EVEN BOTHERED TO OPEN IT. SECURITY WAS SPELT WITH A SPACE BETWEEN THE I AND THE T WHICH PUT ME OFF FOR STARTERS.

Always a wee bit of a give away, the spellig misstacks. It vexes me sorely, if, when they are planning to empty your entire bank account, they can't get even bother to try and get the basic spelling and grammar correct! I mean, come on! maybe we are in the wrong business!

WHY SPAMTABULOUS?

Every day millions of people across the globe are inundated with nonsensical, badly written, and vastly over optimistic emails from folk who wish to empty our bank accounts of our hard earned pennies, without us knowing they are doing it.

They pretend to be the organisations we trust, our friends and loved ones, or strangers in dire need of help, relying on our goodwill and more often gullibility.

And every day I press the Delete button and send them to the Trash where they belong. But sometimes they make me giggle a tiny bit before I do, and these are the ones I thought I would share with you.

As a warning to others who may receive any one of these, and also because spammers do not deserve to be taken seriously.
